Geelong civil works contractors & civil contracting
In January 2016, we received a contract to carry out civil works at the Western Treatment Plant, north-east of Geelong. Auswide Plumbing, together with Southern Dirtworx, was engaged by the John Holland Group and Geomembrane Technologies to help replace the 25W lagoon cover at the treatment plant. The new cover is 171 metres wide, 470 metres long and enables Melbourne Water, at the WTP, to capture biogas for electricity generation, manage odours and reduce emissions from the plant. Prior to 2016, Auswide Plumbing undertook civil works on large-scale construction of non-processed infrastructure facilities in Western Australia’s Pilbara mining region. Our civil construction works included installation of underground services, bulk and detailed earthworks.
